Ben focuses his practice on complex antitrust litigation, class actions, and mass torts. Ben began his career at a litigation defense firm, where he developed a strong foundation in high-stakes commercial litigation. His first exposure to plaintiffs’ work came during a complex construction lawsuit, in which he played a key role in securing a favorable $750,000 settlement for the client. In March 2025, Ben joined Paul LLP Trial Attorneys, drawn by the firm’s mission to effect meaningful change for communities and industries nationwide. During his time at Paul LLP Trial Attorneys, Ben has worked on several high-profile matters, including pursuing claims against large corporations for negligent safety and crowd management during a large-scale event involving thousands of attendees, many of whom suffered serious physical and psychological injuries.
Ben is active in the legal community through his work as a board member for the Lawyers Association of Kansas City – Young Lawyers Section, an organization focused on public service projects and networking opportunities for young lawyers. In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling, playing softball and pickleball, and spending time with his friends, family, and dog.
During law school, Ben was an accomplished advocate on the Mock Trial Team and was honored with the Order of the Barristers award for excellence in courtroom advocacy at national competitions. He also served as a Submission & Symposia Editor for the UMKC Law Review, where he contributed to the development of scholarly legal discourse and chose comments and articles for publication.
