David focuses his practice on complex class and mass action litigations, including antitrust litigation, pharmaceutical drug and medical device litigation, products liability, and personal injury.
David joined Paul LLP Trial Attorneys in 2022 after graduating Valedictorian from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. While attending law school, David worked as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and served as an executive or participating member of multiple organizations.
Since joining Paul LLP Trial Attorneys, David has helped obtain favorable client results on a range of complex litigations across the country, including obtaining successful jury verdicts and decisions at the trial and appellate court levels. He has appeared before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and has helped prepare an appellate brief and amicus curiae brief to the United States Supreme Court.
Currently, David acts for Paul LLP Trial Attorneys on behalf of cattle ranchers in In re Cattle & Beef Antitrust Litigation, No. 0:22-md-03031 (D. Minn.), where Paul LLP Trial Attorneys serves as co-lead counsel. He also acts on behalf of Visa cardholders in In re Visa Antitrust Litigation, No. 1:24-cv-07435 (S.D.N.Y.), where Paul LLP Trial Attorneys is also co-lead counsel. David is also currently advocating for the protection of property owners’ constitutional rights in a series of litigations filed across the country.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, David is a fan of all things Kansas City, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. Dedicated to serving the community, David regularly accepts UMKC’s invitation to judge oral arguments and help law students improve their oral advocacy skills, and he participates in Military Matters, a program that provides legal aid to veterans in need. David is also an Eagle Scout and an active member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. When David is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
