Steven focuses his practice on complex matters involving antitrust, mass torts, personal injury, employment matters, business litigation, and fraudulent practices. Steven joined Paul LLP in 2021 after working in the non-profit and public sectors for several years. Most recently, Steven worked as an Assistant County Counselor for Jackson County, Missouri. As a government attorney, Steven served as legal adviser to the county executive and represented the county in matters such as personal injury defense, tax
disputes, and employment litigation defense. Steven also volunteers as a pro-bono attorney for the Volunteer Attorney Project, representing those who cannot afford legal counsel.
Steven earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2015 with an emphasis on Business and Commercial Law. During his second and third years of law school, Steven worked as a law clerk for Paul LLP. Before law school, Steven earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, where he graduated cum laude. When not practicing law, Steven enjoys spending time with his English bulldog, Maxwell.
